Daniel Grant
Daniel Grant est un photographe américain qui utilise d’anciens appareils argentiques moyen format ainsi que de simples appareils en plastique tels que le Holga et le Diana. À travers ces outils de lomographie, il s’en remet à l’imprévisibilité du procédé, qui produit un rendu artistique singulier. Il a exposé sa série My Affair With Diana à la Artists Gallery du San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. Son autre série, Sand People, a été distinguée comme finaliste du prix Dorothea Lange - Paul Taylor. Ses photographies ont été publiées dans divers médias, notamment The Sunday Times (Royaume-Uni), Outdoor Magazine et f-stop Magazine. Il vit et travaille à Majorque, en Espagne.
Daniel Grant is an American photographer who works with vintage medium-format film cameras, including Holga and Diana toy cameras, and embraces the unpredictability and visual character of the process. He had a solo exhibition at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art Artists Gallery for his series My Affair With Diana. He was a semifinalist for the Dorothea Lange and Paul Taylor Prize for his long-term project Sand People. His photographs have been featured in publications including The Sunday Times (UK), Outdoor Magazine, and f-stop Magazine. He lives and works in Mallorca, Spain.
